Week 6 Thing #15 Web 2.0, Library 2.0, and the Future of Libraries

I've been a classroom teacher for 26 years! I thought I was ready for the change to the library. Little did I know how far I have to go- another 26 years to catch up! I'm just wondering, how many people are in the same boat? Web 2.0 and so on are the future, and I can be an instrument of change, or I can play it safe and do the same old thing that was done before me. My 21 year old daughter gave me something to think about when I decided to make the transition from the classroomto the library.
